3. Istanbul, Turkey: Head to Grand Bazaar for colorful glass lamps and souvenirs

Lastminute.com reviewer adds, "Very nice food and the weather was nice hot, there was loads of market to visit, tradition local market museum, there was a festival there flower I went to eat fish they cook on the street in the very nice I really enjoyed the Istanbul trip. Come out of the airport very easily to go coach."

Lastminute.com reviewer adds, "I went with my husband for a short holiday. We went in February and you would indeed need a light jacket but it was so pleasant. One evening was incredibly misty but other than that the weather was so lovely to walk in. You can get to everything really easily either by walking or taking the tram (public transport is good). Taxis are also quite easy to take. Our hotel would get one for us and would be there waiting for us within a minute. First 2 days we packed in all the sightseeing (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Dolmabace palace and Topkapi Palace) watch out for which ones are closed on which days of the week. Topkapi was closed on a Monday and the Dolmabace was closed on another day. The third day we treated ourselves to a shopping spree at the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market."

4. Munich, Germany: Get there just in time for Christmas so that you don't miss out the markets

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "Weather cod but mainly dry, cuisine mainly Germanic ie. Pork & wurst, although we. Ate mainly at easy quick service outlets. There were many other restaurants offering another cuisine around. We did go to the Main art gallery which we thoroughly enjoyed, but didn't leave enough time for viewing, It is in two sections, old and new and quite big. The Christmas markets are always good, as is the virtual market. Good supermarkets with good restaurants."

5. Belfast, United Kingdom: After a visit to the GOT locations, settle down for a meal at St George's market

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "This is our first time to Northern Ireland and we loved it. We're a big Game of Thrones fans so choosing to go on a Game of Thrones filming locations tour was the best decision. The city isn't too big and is walkable, and we especially loved eating all the food at St George's market - definitely a must-do! There are plenty of shops in the city centre for shopping in case you want a break from sightseeing."

Lastminute.com reviewer adds, "Europa Hotel very good with views from the 10th floor. Lots to see and do. Visited Giants Causeway, Titanic Experience and Game of Thrones exhibition. Good variety of dining. Great market at weekends and fab pubs. The weather was Baltic cold!"
