1. London, United Kingdom "...on my last visit I discovered Kings College Guys campus, great maze ..."

Lastminute.com reviewer En adds, "The weather was very warm and muggy so rather than using public transport I mainly walked to where I needed to go. The location of the hotel was great, within walking distance of Euston, which meant that even though I didn't travel until later in the day, I was at the hotel within ten minutes of arriving. Similarly the next day I was able to walk to Trafalgar Square in 15 - 20 minutes. I really enjoyed staying in Bloomsbury and walking around the local area. I am based in Borough High Street and on my last visit I discovered Kings College Guys campus, great maze. It is ideal for lunch as it has a great cafe and, when I was there, I ate lunch at the farmers market with loads of great street food in a beautiful setting. I liked the location of the hotel, including its proximity to the places I needed to be, and also the local area (beautiful squares to sit in). I also enjoyed staying in such a classic, historic townhouse."

2. Dublin-IE, Ireland "...Great sightseeing places are Bray Beach, the Guinness Wearhouse, the museumm and the UCD campus..."

Lastminute.com reviewer David says, "The main reason for my visit was to meet up with a friend at the UCD and attend an event day at Dublin university, but the whole trip was very enjoyable, not just because I was able to meet up with my friend but, also, because of the interesting things to see, do, drink and eat in and around Dublin. There are so many places to eat and drink, but we did manage to find an authentic Thai restaurant near the hotel called Baan Thai where the food was really good. Great sightseeing places are Bray Beach, the Guinness Wearhouse, the museum and the UCD campus. The Guinness Warehouse was interesting, but I can't narrow it down to just one experience. I liked the price and that I was able to meet with my friend from China"

3. Aberdeen-GB, United Kingdom "...The University buildings are very iconic..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Tim says, "Aberdeen is very grey thanks to all the granite. However the people are not grey and there are lots of fun little cafe's, bookshops, and outdoor activities to be had. As ever in Scotland: the scenery is fantastic, and it's one of those few cities in the UK that is relatively quiet but still busy enough in parts to feel connected. If you're going for the first time: I would recommend a jumper, although it's really not that cold at the moment even in April. Sightseeing places: Went to see the library and the university buildings. The university buildings are very iconic - reminds me of a lot of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. I liked the City centre cafes and the lovely granite buildings."

4. Nottingham, United Kingdom "...Nottingham Trent University - an excellent university right in the city centre."

Lastminute.com reviewer Mike adds, "Nottingham is a big city, there's a major city square with alternating attractions - it might be a German market or a funfair or a giant wheel. Lace Market is really busy, with loads of food and drink choices. Visited the Nottingham Trent university - an excellent university right in the city centre."

5. Columbia, United States "...Walked around the beautiful university campus..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Garet shares, "My time in and around Columbia was fantastic. The city has a great mixture of restaurants, bars and exciting nightlife. It has all of the amenities of a medium-sized city without the overwhelming hustle and bustle. Walked around the beautiful university campus. Enjoyed the parks and outdoor activities. I had a really great night out at a local bar. It felt very welcoming - like I had been there before."
