We went to see the historical sights, especially the UNESCO ones and they were amazing, hard to get your head around all the history. People built these 'temples' 7,000 years ago. The day trip to Gozo was lovely... The Maltese food was good, we had local food for lunches and hotel food for dinner.   Read more

We hired a car and saw all the major sights in Malta and Gozo. I think hiring a car is essential. Malta and Gozo have a wealth of historical sites and a week was barely enough to scratch the surface. We will definitely return...   Read more

The city is beautiful and it is easy to see why it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We visited Charles Bridge, Prague Castle where you can watch the changing of the guards, Wenceslas Square and the Astronomical Clock, which are all at walking distance of each other – be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Prague Castle was beautiful as was St. Vitus Cathedral. Charles Bridge was very busy but the walk across was really pleasant.   Read more

We wanted to see as many historical sights typical to Budapest whilst we were there. We started off by visiting the St Stephen's cathedral... You need to go up to the top of the cathedral – this is a must. From there you are open to the most amazing views of Budapest city... We also visited on the Buda side – Buda castle which holds the museum with so much history of Budapest from politics to the [lives of] local people in its earlier years... My partner and I loved walking around the city and seeing the different cultural aspects. We found out there is so much culture in Budapest that we were completely unaware of such as the history behind the city itself.   Read more
