4. Fuerteventura, Spain "You cannot miss Ajuy caves, Aguas Verdes natural pools..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Massimo says, "Weather is great most of the time, with a constant 20-25 C., Of course, it's windy (have you figured out why Fuerte-Ventura yet? ) Food is a marvellous adventure. Especially when it comes to their unique potatoes. An island that never ends to surprise. You will go back another time. Also very good with kids. De-stressing tips: Local food. And frozen beer. And long walks pretty much everywhere on the island. Adventurous activities: Hiking, everywhere is wonderful and there's desert, mountains, cliffs. Surf if you can! In front of Corralejo, or go to the difficult Cofete. Sightseeing places: Cofete is a very remote place and not easy to reach (you will definitely need a good car, 4x4 recommended). But maybe the most beautiful beach. You cannot miss Ajuy caves, Aguas Verdes natural pools, the magic El Puertito cafe in Los Molinos, El Cotillo, La Concha, the dunes of Corralejo. Or go surfing, or go to a catamaran and have a paella. Kid's experience: The natural pools of Aguas Verdes (Playa del Valle), the infinite beaches. Enjoyed the well maintained Oasis Wildlife near La Lajita. I liked: The slow pace. Quiet and calm days, enjoying the great weather. Not hot, always warm enough."

6. Granada, Spain "Amazing view at the caves of the monument."

Lastminute.com reviewer Mark shares, "The main reason to go to Granada is the amazing La Alhambra. The last Muslim kingdom to go to Europe. Where tolerance between religions worked so well for so long. A wonderful mix of architecture. With over 2 million visitors each year. The monument with palaces and a backdrop of snow-capped mountains in winter is amazing. Make sure you book the monument early. The walking guided Tours are worth doing to understand the history or get a guide book before entering. Napoleon destroyed parts of it and the Christian rule changed it, hence why understanding history is important. Food was very reasonable in Granada, we managed to pick up a simple but delicious tapas selection for 16 euros with drinks. Walk a bit further and explore to find the gems. Amazing view at the caves of the monument."
