Lastminute.com reviewer Chloe adds, "The weather was beautiful, the coastline is stunning but most areas more rocky than sandy. Plenty of places to eat. A day on Gozo is a must, absolutely beautiful. We took an open-top bus to see the sights as they are a long way apart sometimes. Valetta is also worth a visit, the cannon fire at Baraka Gardens was great.
De-stressing tips: Relaxing by our hotel's rooftop infinity pool, swimming at Xlendi Bay, walking along the coastline.
Food experience: We had half board at our hotel (The Victoria Hotel, Sliema) and the food was fantastic. We ate out on Gozo, at a lovely beachfront restaurant and it was very reasonable. We largely ate small things for lunch like having ice cream, milkshake or something from a little backstreet bakery as we were usually quite full.
Sightseeing places: Valetta - Barakka Gardens, the waterfront, Republic Street, Gozo - Pinu, Victoria, Xlendi Bay, Ramla Bay, Comino - Blue Lagoon.
Parent's experience: I travelled with my mum on a girls holiday whilst my dad and boyfriend worked. My mum loved the pool at our hotel, as well as taking the ferry to both Valetta and Gozo.
I liked: The hotel! The Victoria Hotel in Sliema is amazing and the staff are so friendly, going above and beyond to help."
