1. Athens, Greece "I liked: The galleries, the hikes and discovering new places..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Louisa Maria adds, "The weather in Athens is great now in April-May, not too hot or too cold. I often come to Athens and love the art scene here. I also love walking and hiking in and around Athens; Although the transport is good, it is also a great city to walk through and much more fun that way. One of the places I went to the other day was Stavros Niarchos Foundation which is a great place to go to, to view the whole city form and just have a walk in the open-plan space and its gardens that start from the roof. De-stressing tips: Walking, Sightseeing, visiting new galleries and museums and going to the beach. Solo experience: I loved just walking along the beach and walking in the city centre. I love Athens as it is a very walkable city and everywhere you look there is culture, art, great buildings and it is surrounded by mountains and sea. Also, the food is amazing. I liked: The galleries, the hikes and discovering new places and buildings as I walked through the city."

6. Edinburgh, United Kingdom "De-stressing tips: The hike to Arthur's Peak."

Lastminute.com reviewer Ianca says, "De-stressing tips: The hike to Arthur's Peak. Sightseeing places: I didn't have time to go to too many places, unfortunately including the castle, but just seeing it towering over the city is incredible. I manage to go to Camera Obscura, which was a fine little place to spend around an hour or so. The kids would probably enjoy it the most. Then I took a Ghostbus tour, which unfortunately was a bit disappointing, at least compared to the one from Dublin. Lastly, I went hiking at Arthur's Peak. That is probably my favourite activity. The hike wasn't very long or difficult, but the view is great. Since I was short on time I had to do it at night, but I think that only heightened the enjoyment. During this period of the year, it doesn't really get that dark so you can just navigate without light, but just in case you should have a torch with you. I was lucky to get clear weather and at the peak, I realized it was actually a full moon, which was really lucky. Solo experience: Arthur's Peak was my favourite. Just relaxing, not very difficult. At night it was very quiet, exactly what I wanted. I liked: Arthur's peak, the weather and the people."

7. Paguera, Spain "It's a clean town with spectacular cycling and hiking in the area..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Clive says, "Paguera is a small town. Quiet and pleasant. Nice beach with shallow waters you can walk out 30+ metres before the water reaches your chest. It's a clean town with spectacular cycling and hiking in the area, a handful of lovely coves in walking distance. I found the food in local restaurants to be average/poor it was my one disappointment. Although great currywurst. Adventurous activities: Cycling, hiking."
