The weather in Malta was fantastic with a pleasant heat and cool breeze in the night. The food was quite good although it was nothing special.we had lots of fun boating it was a thrill ride. The caves were magnificent and beautiful the waters clear as crystal. Malta is a lovely holiday spot the people kind and welcoming there is lots to do and it is really enjoying the island is clean and the water beautiful I recommend going there with family or alone. Sightseeing places: Gozo. Romantic experience: Cruise. I liked: Place.
Extremely hot. We hiked around the villages and drunk retsina. Adventurous activities: Saw watersport activities at Antisamos. Sightseeing places: Drogarati cave was beautiful. Agia Affimia a lovely village. Friendly people. Sami nice for food and watching the world go by. Romantic experience: Sitting on the rocks outside of the village. I liked: Views.
1. 24 degrees in July, expected the south of Portugal to be hotter in that period. 2. Boat trip to Benagil caves was amazing. Sightseeing places: Benagil caves was amazing. Lagos has beautiful beaches. Praia the Marinha is really nice too. Romantic experience: Boat trip to Benagil caves. I liked: The amazing beaches.
Weather and food excellent, visited Frigiliana, Nerja Caves, Gibraltar, all good and local places easily accessible by excellent Nerja bus services. Perla Marina Hotel in Nerja was very good and the Ship pub is a good place to sit with a cool drink and watch the world go by.
We went to the caves at Cal and Porter, beautiful views. Went up the mountain. Weather was not bad considering we went quite early, mid may. Food was really good and not badly priced. De-stressing tips: Relaxing, eating nice food and drink. Romantic experience: The visit to the caves, drinking wine looking out at the view. I liked: Spending time with my partner on a beautiful island.
Weather incredible, food delicious and unbelievable plentiful. We did loads of n e Crete sights, Knossos disappointing, Gournia incredible, Richtis gorge stunning, Agios Nikolaos fantastic, Cretan olive oil farm brilliant, Zeus cave was stunning, Spinalonga fascinating, semi-submarine thrilling. Adventure activities: We hired a motorbike and rode everywhere, it was amazing. Places you saw: Spinalonga is a must, and definitely you must read 'The island' to get a colourful and not historically accurate image of life in the colony. Don't miss a cocktail at Chez George above the lake in AgNik, a perfect view! Romantic on trip: The boat trip from Agios Nikolaos was amazing and so was the drive up to Monofaneromi monastery. Like most in trip: The trip to the Cretan olive oil farm stood out, we milked a goat, and made cheese!
The weather was unlucky that week (mid September) it was fairly warm but I'd pack a jacket or something for the eve. We had 2 days of rain and on one we visited Mar Shopping Algarve. Definitely one to visit if you love shopping :) Food was lovely along the sea front. We went to slide and splash, and a boat tour around Benagil Caves. We booked transport through the hotel for the water park but wasn't informed that pick up time was 5pm until we got off. We left at 9:30. A very long day! Would recommend getting the later bus. The Benagil Caves and dolphin tour was amazing. We drove to Albuferia marine and booked a tour there. It was €30 each but worth it. Adventure activities: We went on a boat tour around the Benagil Caves, which was a lot of fun! The captain took us high speeds and some fun sharp turns around the rocks. So glad we got front seats. Which park: Slide and splash. What I remember is the long wait for the coach back. We got there at 10:30 and by 12 we had done all the slides. Was a little disappointed but having a parrot on your shoulder made up for it a little. Romantic on trip: We took a walk along the beach front and the sunset was beautiful. Also visited a restaurant, with live music, that over looked the sea. The overall experience was lovely. It was just 5 minutes from our hotel too. Like most in trip: Probably seeing the dolphins and the caves.
