1. Burgas, Bulgaria "Kid's enjoyment: The beach, with its warm shallow waters and clean sand. "

Lastminute.com reviewer Nicola says, "Travelled in Aug and the temp was 31-34 every day with a clear sky (apart from one day which was cloudy). On the beach, there was a wind, which made the temp more comfortable. Food in the hotel was amazing, the buffet had so much choice perfect for a fussy family. We took the bus to Nessebar and then the train back to sunny beach, which was lovely. Kid's enjoyment: The beach, with its warm shallow waters and clean sand. We would spend the morning at the beach and afternoon at one of the 3 pools at the hotel. The little train was lovely too, oh and ice cream at dinner ner every day."

Lastminute.com reviewer Caroline says, "The beaches on the Algarve are all beautiful in their own way, Armacao the Pera has a long beach and in Alvor is a very nice long beach with good facilities and restaurants. If you feel like driving up to Monchique (mountain area) you can stop at Cafe Imperio (restaurant) for the best smoked ham in the world, a grilled chicken Piri, tomato salad, doce da casa dessert and almond sweets at the end. You will not regret this! Enjoy the Algarve! Kid's enjoyment: Using the indoor and outdoor pools, going to the beach and collect seashells. Places you saw: Alvor Beach; Armacao the Pera local market (Saturdays is farmers market); Monchique/Caldas the Monchique. Learn from experience: Yes, the Algarve is a must visit place with beautiful beaches and amazing fresh food - fish, fruits, veg. Like most in trip: The weather, the beach and the fresh, tasty food."

We spent several days at the beach, in and out of the sea, trying different restaurants and food and building sandcastles. Places you saw: We went into Fuengirola and went to Bioparc zoo which was amazing! It takes a good couple of hours to go around, lots of very cool animals and even a playpark. Like most in the trip: Relaxing on the beach. Kids played while we sat in the sun. Restaurants would come around and take orders for food or drinks and bring them to you. 5. Jersey, United Kingdom "Kids loved the beach..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Joanna says, "Weather is similar to the UK. Food in restaurants is similar to the UK in price. Food in the shops was quite expensive. Kids loved the beach, Jersey has many beautiful beaches that are not too busy. They loved playing in the sand and snorkelling in the lido. We also loved the monkeys in the trees and butterfly house at the zoo. Public transport is easy to use, it covers all the main attractions and you can buy hop-off tickets if you plan on using it often. We found Jersey a lovely place with a friendly atmosphere. People in Jersey were very helpful with directions. Also, they had nice clean public toilets which are very useful if you have small children. There were loads more than you would find in the UK. Overall definitely worth a trip in the summer for the amazing sandy beaches. Kid's enjoyment: Swimming pool a the Merton Hotel. Beach lido for sand and snorkelling. Butterfly house and monkey's in the trees at the zoo."
