Grenada is a relaxed holiday spot, yet to be exploited like many of the other Caribbean islands. People are friendly, local food is fresh, there are few fast-food chains across the island, driving is on the same side as the UK and there is no such thing as road rage just patient drivers. There are numerous things to do such as beach hopping, nature walks through the rain forest, up to the highest peak, waterfalls to trek to for all levels of fitness, distillery tours, volcanic hot springs and Sulphur springs, historical sites or diving and snorkelling. We spent five days and it was not enough time to take in the many activities on offer. Parent's experience: Island cuisine.
De-stressing tips: Relaxing at La Sagasse resort.
Sightseeing places: Grand Etang lake and Mt Qua.
I liked: The calm and relaxed atmosphere.
