6. Belfast, United Kingdom "[V]isually evident from the famous murals and monuments..."

Lastminute.com reviewer William adds, "Belfast is a fascinating city with a tragic past that is visually evident from the famous murals and monuments to those who lost their lives in the Troubles. The Peace Process and Good Friday Agreement have meant that casual visitors can safely view these marks of a modern tragedy. People are unfailingly warm and welcoming. Food in Northern Ireland is a veritable feast with fresh fish and vegetables a delight and ordinary portions are enormous by UK mainland standards. Well worth a visit."
