Lastminute.com reviewer Ms says, "Weather in Bangkok always fabulous. Hot but bearable.
Love using the river to get around - ferries super cheap and an experience in themselves.
Food great everywhere we went - just try everything!
Taxis plentiful but insist on using the meter - or they will invent crazy prices.
De-stressing tips: Massage - shops available everywhere.
Food experience: Street food everywhere is reliable, cheap and tasty - we tried everything and no one got sick, Just go with what's busy and looks good.
Sightseeing places: Grand Palace - beautiful but oh so busy, Jim Thompson's House - an oasis of calm in the city, Asiatique - bit too touristy but fun shopping even if in a sanitized environment, Siam mall - posh shopping.
Romantic experience: Riverside cocktails at Asiatique.
Parent's experience: The Chao Praya ferries - cool breeze on the water while whipping up and down to the various sites.
I liked: We went on to Hua Hin and stayed in the most fabulous beach front resort."
