Lastminute.com reviewer Tyler adds, "Weather was sometimes slightly windy on days, but you can expect this when you are by the sea! On the last couple of days, I got sunburnt haha! Overall, the weather was great. The food was great in places and not so great in others, which you can expect anywhere. I will say, food over there is massively overpriced. We ordered a large pizza, on its own, it came to $40. Take extra food money! Sightseeing is, of course, a must here! We saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, The painted Ladies and Mrs Doubtfires house. If you plan on biking over the bridge, get hire bikes from in the town as there are no bike hire shops close to the bridge. The hills are massive and really can wear you out, so take lots of snacks on outings and water. Book Alcatraz prior to booking, it is very busy! We also visited a bar called Silver Cloud down Lombard Street, this was definitely a night out we will remember forever! The bar had a quiz going on at first, then karaoke until 1 am which was fantastic. The locals there were so friendly and the whole bar became so busy and exciting, really worth a visit if at least once the visit was a holiday of a lifetime and I will certainly be returning."
