1. Phuket, Thailand Yellow noodles with chicken will be your favourite on this holiday

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "Phuket is a small town with the old town just covering a few streets. The old town is where you will find tiny shops and market type stalls you can browse in, and enjoy the Portuguese architecture. We were there for a couple of hours and that included having lunch which for us was enough shopping. There are huge modern shopping malls nearby if you want more up to date shops. The weather was hot and humid so Aircon was a blessing. We also walked up monkey hill, not for the faint hear ted in the heat, took us about half an hour, rhesus monkeys were quite well behaved when we were there but you've got to keep your eyes open and your wits about you, they are wild animals. We went back to Phuket another day to see Big Buddha at sunrise which was quite awesome and more monkeys. Food was wonderful, I love trying local cuisine and the yellow noodles with chicken were delicious."

A great little find for fast food was Fermier Gourmet (5 minutes walk from Crowne Plaza), really quick grill food, chicken, steak, burgers etc. Very tasty and very good price. Moulin Rouge 9 pm show. Wow, what an unbelievably amazing show. Loved it. Uber to there from the hotel was 13 euros. We had a great trip Republique great location and easy to get to anywhere from here."

3. Instanbul, Turkey Grilled skewers? Kebap is a must-try!

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "The weather was on the slightly cold side, but that’s to be expected for this time of the year . . I’d definitely recommend the Bosphorus boat trip. It allows you to see most of the popular tourist attractions in just under two hours. The Turkish cuisine is to die for! Their char grilled chicken was my favourite. Make sure you bring back plenty of Turkish delight and Baklava. Your loved ones will appreciate it!"

4. Krakow, Poland Known for their tender and juicy 'Chicken Liver Dishes'!

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "The local cuisine was delish chicken fish !. I did go sightseeing and I saw loads of lovely sights !. And I did do a fun activity called a segway tour, it was a tour on a device called a segway which is a bit like a car but with fewer wheels and you have to stand up! I liked: I really like the salt mine and the segway tour."

5. Edinburgh, UK Their Balmoral Chicken is something you most likely won't find anywhere else

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "I'm a local, so I know my way around, and I'll take a few seconds to jot down my favourite, less well-known spots. Just off the royal mile, there is a great chicken place called wings. Lucas ice cream is essential for an Edinburgh visit. There is one in Morningside, which is one of the best places to go if your looking for a café or even take away and have a picnic on the nearby Bruntsfield links. If you can take the trip Coldingham is a lovely tucked away beach along the coast, know for its water sports and it's secluded nature, there is also a cafe and there if you want a night out of town."

6. Barcelona, Spain Once you try the Chicken al Pimentos you'll be asking for the recipe!

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "Weather was cool for the most part, tho warm enough in the day to wander round in. Had chicken paella in a cafe in a square just off La Ramblas which was super-tasty, so would definitely recommend that - and potato bravas! Walked for miles around the Cathedral area, which was full of surprises round every ‘gothic’ corner. Then Parc Güell was just amazing. Beautiful and bizarre in the same breath."
