In love with Cyprus now! It was a picturesque place with clear blue skies and rustic buildings! The food was incredible! Great fresh seafood, a great place for pescatarians! The beaches have clear waters and small hilly mountain backdrops. All residents speak English which made it very easy for us. Everyone was all very friendly and helpful, especially our taxi driver! We came back to London knowing we have a friend in Cyprus now! Pretty waterfalls and blue lagoons to visit which all have a mythical story behind it, as Paphos is the birthplace of the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite.   Read more

"De-stressing tips: Walking for hours, sitting by the waterfall."

I went to the countryside off of Reykjavik for a wedding in a cabin hotel. It was so beautiful, waking up to the endless space and fresh air. The countryside felt like the middle of nowhere but in the most magical sense. This journey was more of a retreat rather than a proactive touristic one - although I saw a waterfall on the way to the countryside that I will never forget. I was able to get close enough to take pictures and feel it's power. De-stressing tips: Walking for hours, sitting by the waterfall. Friend's experience: The wedding that took place in a small cabin hotel in the countryside. It was small and special. I liked: Being a part of an Icelandic traditional wedding. Discovering real fresh air.   Read more
