1. Carcassonne, France "Many walking opportunities with tracks into the forest..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Carolind adds, "Saw Pyrenees Occidentales and stayed with a friend in a converted barn in the mountains. Wonderful for cycling, as there is virtually no traffic. Quillan worth a visit. Vibrant and pretty. Many walking opportunities with tracks into the forest and mountains. Wild thyme everywhere, much happy birdsong and church bells to tell you the time. Not many other sounds. Pretty idyllic. I liked: Discovering a new place that I knew very little about. Carcassonne airport is very manageable. Tiny, with very friendly staff. A pleasant surprise. I disliked: It was all good."

2. Tenerife, Spain "Got to see the mountains and rainforest..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Samuel says, "The weather was glorious all week I was there. Hired a car and meant I got to go around the island and get out and about which was terrific. Got to see the mountains and rain forest and some of the best beaches in Tenerife."

3. Guernsey, United Kingdom " I saw the bluebells in the woods..."

Lastminute.com reviewer Joanne shares, "The weather was similar to here. Colder than I expected. I like the local cuisine, though my favourite meal was in a Thai restaurant! I stayed in St Peter Port, and went to a few places by local buses. I saw the bluebells in the woods on the cliffs of Fermaine bay, beautiful. I went to Le Gouffre which is a lovely part of the cliff walks, and I had a very nice meal at the restaurant at Le Gouffre. I have mobility issues, so could not walk along the cliff paths as I used to do. I chose places accessible without too much walking. My visit to Herm on Thursday, a sunny day, was lovely, and I walked to the Shell Beach and collected some to go with my collections from previous visits."
