5. Santorini, Greece "Couple of wineries in the small village of Megalochori.."

Lastminute.com reviewer Aileen Jean adds, "Santorini is a beautiful place to visit, the weather was good (although windy at times) and there were plenty of opportunities to enjoy the local cuisine. Oia is a must see with the white buildings on the cliffside, Fira is similar but more lively in terms of bars/restaurants, and Perissa is worth a visit if you want a chill day at the black sand beach too. There are many places that offer wine tastings etc, Santo Wines is one of the best (and has a great view) but there are a couple of wineries in the small village of Megalochori, which are definitely worth a visit if you wish to get away from the crowds. Sightseeing places: Oia, Fira, Megalochori. All beautiful towns and are all good for different reasons. Friend's experience: Watching the sunset at Santos Winery (much better than sitting for hours at the castle in Oia! ). I liked: The scenery, one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited."
