1. London, United Kingdom Of curry days at Brick Lane and sunshine

Lastminute.com reviewer Sarah adds, "Chucking down with rain on the night we arrived, so we headed to Brick Lane for a tasty curry. Sunshine and dry for the rest of our break. We walked everywhere, visiting galleries and sightseeing – 22, 000 steps one day! Loved seeing the Franz West and Pierre Bonnard at Tate Modern. Met up with old pals in the evening and visited an old fave pub on Fleet Street – Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. We had a fabulous trip."

2. Birmingham, United Kingdom When in Birmingham, a good curry is never far. Get over to Balti Triangle

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "Birmingham is a wonderful city and there are plenty of things to see and do. A few recommendations are. A walk along the canals at Brindley Place. Stopping for a few drinks or a wide choice of food. A tour of Villa Park. The museum is free to enter and is well worth a visit as is the new central library. A good curry is never too far away. Relished a good curry at the Balti triangle. Villa Park was a good visit."

3. Emsworth, United Kingdom Dine at Emsworth's no. 1 restaurant, Taste of India

Lastminute.com reviewer Carol adds, "Emsworth was a pretty little village with many pubs and delightful restaurants. The Quay was very pretty too. We enjoyed a lovely curry at Taste of India which was voted number one in Emsworth. We booked a table a week in advance and this was worth doing as it was fully booked even at 7pm when we arrived. Don’t be put off by it being very small compared to the large restaurant next door. We used Uber to get to and from hotel which only cost about £4 each way. Again we’ll worth doing. The Brookfield Hotel was really nice."

4. Sydney, Australia Bondi beach, Newcastle and curry meals at Jungle Curry, Sydney will steal your heart

Lastminute.com reviewer adds, "The weather was just beautiful, around 35 degrees every day (don’t forget your sunscreen). The local cuisine has something to offer for all tastes and the best meal we had was at Bangkok Bites in Bondi Beach. Highly recommend the jungle curry if you like a bit of spice. Whilst there I visited Soldiers Beach and Caves up in Newcastle, the Blue Mountains, a live show (Charlie and the chocolate factory) and Bondi Beach. All very beautiful representations of what Sydney has to offer."

5. Zagreb, Croatia Sample Sri Lankan street style curry

Lastminute.com reviewer Mark adds, "Saw an amazing photography exhibition on the war in former Yugoslavia. It's called Image of War. I had the place to myself and was treated to a really helpful guide through the photos by the curator. I also ate at the Curry Bowl Sri Lankan street food restaurant. It was so good I went back this evening and had another great curry. My final recommendation is for Freebird Record shop. Lots of used vinyl and CDs. Really friendly and helpful staff."

6. Oslo, Norway Warm your heart and body with some delicious curry and fine whiskey

Lastminute.com reviewer Simon says, "Weather, was just turning from a snowscape to what promises to be a delightful summer. Whilst I didn't do any tourist stuff, I got to walk the city. It is a remarkably clean city, lacking litter, and of course with fresh air. I found an exceptional curry restaurant and a whisky shop that has got to be world-leading. And don't even get me started on the bar with over 400 different craft beers."
