Lastminute.com reviewer Alexandrb adds, "The weather was good, brighter than expected.
We visited all of the usual tourist destinations, we wanted to go out of the city to go hiking...
It's a very beautiful and small city. You'll definitely feel like you've been living there and know all of the sights like the back of your hand by day 2. It feels kind of like being in a fairy-tale. A lot of nature, castles, old style buildings. Its culturally rich.
Sightseeing places: Casemats, The Pfaffenthal Lift, Chemin the la Corniche, Museum of Modern art, Adolfe Bridge, My favourites were the Museum of Modern art and the Adolfe Bridge (plus the park underneath it). The art museum was very pretty and the exhibitions were interesting.
Friend's experience: Walking around the city is great. It's small enough that you can walk from one end of the city to the other in about an hour. We took the time to explore the winding streets and found really nice restaurants and cafes with great food along the way.
I liked: It was very much a great mix of nature and city. It was a little quiet at times and a lot of shops are closed early on Sunday's. But that made it more fun to just walk around and explore."
