1. Amsterdam, Netherlands Experience Amsterdam like never before with a glass of champagne and a burger

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "Weather was really cold but we were prepared! Rained one day but didn’t stop us from going to where we wanted to. Hotel in walking distance of everything from red light district to Anne Franks house, the zoo and even the windmill with the brewery! Yes I know because we did it! Everywhere is beautiful. Recommend the canal boat rides, we learnt a lot. Definitely, have to do a ‘coffee shop’ visit for the experience! Would have liked to have gone up the A’dam Tower and the Bruges trip but we ran out of time. Again a must see is the red light district and Casa Rosso sex show. The Ice Bar is also an amazing experience! I liked the Ice Bar, canal boat ride, just chilling and seeing all the sights."

2. Venice, Italy Meander through the neighborhoods from Santa Lucia train station to St. Mark’s Square

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "We strolled around Venice in the sunshine and bought a 48 hour Vaporetto pass which enabled us to enjoy unlimited journeys along the Grand canal which were particularly awesome at sunset. We also sailed to Lido and the beautiful islands of Murano and Burano"

Lastminute.com reviewer says, "Beautiful weather, the best city break we ever had. Venice is breathtaking and it's something you can imagine only in furry tales. Having seafood by the canal for lunch and take away pizza for dinner recommend."

3. Copenhagen, Denmark View the idyllic harbors of Nyhavn and Gammel Strand

Lastminute.com reviewer adds, "Weather was good for the time of year. Local cuisine was fantastic. Make use of the hot dog sellers, Netto’s and 7/11 stores to help keep costs down. I found the metro was a good value for money. Walking around the city is probably a favourite so take some comfortable shoes. A canal boat tour was also good along with a trip up the Round Tower. The palace is also worth a look. Over one of the many bridges is a bridge tower cafe. Very unique and relaxing, sipping a coffee overlooking the hustle and bustle and peaceful waterways. A visit to the zoo is also a good day out."

4. Bruges, Belgium Start off your tour at Bruggs square and float along the expansive networks

Lastminute.com reviewer adds, "The weather was warm sunny and blue skies. canal ride well worth doing and climbing to the top of the tower. Spoilt for choice with restaurants all good plus shopping excellent too!"

Lastminute.com reviewer says, "Bruges is lovely but going at the weekend means that you are there with loads of other tourists. We went on a lot of walks outside of the city centre to avoid the crowds. Going on a boat trip on the canal was lovely. The food is great. We found one restaurant - the Olive Tree on Wollestraat - which had lovely vegetarian food and Zilles Burgers do cracking veggie burgers but apart from that it's pretty tricky."

5. Vienna, Austria Go on a sightseeing cruise and spot landmarks like the Uniqua Tower, the Urania Observatory

Lastminute.com reviewer says, "The weather was fantastic for February, very mild. I liked the traditional Austrian food and my vegetarian husband also found lots of non-meat alternatives. Lots of Italian and Morrocan styled restaurants. We bought the Vienna pass which, although expensive allowed us free entry into all the major museums, palaces and fun attractions such as the wheel and the tower and a trip on the canal. The highlight of the trip was our visit to The Spanish Riding School. We bought our tickets in advance and again, although expensive, it was worth it."
