4. Prague, Czech Republic "The city is beautiful and it is easy to see why it is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site."

Lastminute.com reviewer Ruth shares, "Prague was a beautiful city... We visited Charles Bridge, Prague Castle where you can watch the changing of the guards, Wenceslas Square and the Astronomical clock which are all in walking distance of each - be sure to wear comfortable shoes. We also took a river cruise, and viewed the home of the prime minister of Prague and Parliament. The city is beautiful and it is easy to see why it is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Sightseeing places: Prague Castle was beautiful as was St Vitus Cathedral. Charles Bridge was very busy, but the walk across was really pleasant."

6. Budapest, Hungary "[A] Jewish Heritage tour - all good and helped us orientate ourselves and piece together Hungary's complicated history."

Lastminute.com reviewer Heather says, "We stayed at the Sofitel; we booked a room with a Danube view - fantastic ! Weather was mixed - cold when we arrived, but gradually got warmer until it was almost shorts and weather. Went on the Big Bus tour, which included a river cruise and a guided walk; also went on a walking tour of Buda Castle District and a Jewish Heritage tour - all good and helped us orientate ourselves and piece together Hungary's complicated history. Our best value meal was a smallish plate lunch at the Sofital sitting on the sunny terrace! All in all a great trip with no unexpected hitches."
