1. Bangkok, Thailand Swim in the river with these gentle beasts

Lastminute.com reviewer says, "Weather was fantastic and food experiences on every street corner. Elephant world was a 2-hour taxi ride but well worth it, where else in the world could you swim in a river with elephants. Riding up the river on crazy propeller boats, basking and swimming with elephants, crazy tuk-tuk rides were great fun and travelling on there state trains are an experience not to miss. There are some great restaurants in Bangkok and spending an evening, having dinner in one, talking about the days activities was a great way to relax. "

2. Phuket, Thailand Get a chance to bathe and feed them

Lastminute.com reviewer Jason Paul says, "I stayed in paying the hotel was a 20-minute walk from the beach but tuk-tuk taxis are everywhere and they charged £2. 50. Paying has a huge amount of restaurants and the street food markets were amazing. The beach has quite a few bars and restaurants also. Phi Island is worth a visit, it's 50km from Phuket but the ultra-fast speed boat got me there in 45 minutes, it's a beautiful place to visit. Coral island and Raya island were also good. I spent a day up in the mountains in the pan that swimming, washing, feeding elephants which were wonderful. The big Buddha temple is also a spectacle, all round an amazing holiday."

4. Colombo, Sri Lanka Drive through the Udawalawe and get to see elephants and leopards

Lastminute.com reviewer shares, "The weather is very hot and stuffy, Colombo itself doesn't have much going on and is very busy on the roads. But there are lots to do elsewhere in Sri Lanka. The middle is full of tea plantations and great train rides, then the coast down south has amazing beaches, not forgetting the national parks where there are leopards and elephants!"

5. Prague, Czech Republic The Prague zoo is where you must be

Lastminute.com reviewer Elena Alexandra says, "Our visit to Prague came recommended by friends. I wanted to see for myself what all that fuss was about and I did not regret it. Starting from the lovely hotel (Grandior) to the amazing views you take in along the streets. I do recommend to go to the Petrin Lookout Tower and take in the dazzling view it offers over Prague. Charles Bridge, another must-see! Its sculptures on each side are truly unique. And from there go feed the swans, they are so friendly and beautiful! We went in mid-January and the weather is relatively cold, take extra sweaters, gloves, hats etc. We tried their famous twirl dessert with chocolate and we were delighted! The Prague Castle and Astronomical Clock architecture is breath taking! We also managed to visit the Prague Zoo, they have polar bears, elephants, giraffes, wolves and many more! "
