Lastminute.com reviewer Ieva shares, "It was very hot. Around 40 degrees Celsius every day. The foods were great. Gotta try Paella, the national dish together with Sangria. We explored the city of Madrid and Toledo, a small town an hour away from Madrid.
In Madrid, we saw the Royal Palace, El Retiro Park and Crystal Palace. We also came across Martinez food and drink market where I had the best tapas and wine. In Toledo, we explored the small and narrow streets surrounded by small local shops and the beautiful architecture.
Sightseeing places: Royal Palace, Crystal Palace, El Retiro park, Martinez food and grill. All the places were beautiful. Crystal Palace is a good place to take amazing photos. El Retiro park was very pretty and it was possible to rent a boat in the middle of the park. Martinez food and grill was a great place to try tapas and Sangria.
Parent's experience: It was my mom's first time flying so overall she was very amazed and excited about everything she saw. She really enjoyed the feeling of welcoming by everyone and even though we don't speak Spanish, people were very understanding."
