The weather was wonderful, around 17 degrees for February is very good and the sun was the cherry on an already stunning cake. The buildings were absolutely incredible, the architecture of the buildings in an average street was amazing. I remember lots of instances where two streets met and the symmetry of the two meetings took my breath away more than once. My favourite experience was probably reaching the peak of the Sacre-Couer and looking out upon the scintillating view of the city. Building a cathedral this high and with such an amazing view must have been done to make visitors feel 'closer to god/heaven' thereby increasing their faith. I am not a religious person but this experience certainly allowed me to feel spiritual about existence and appreciate the beauty of the world and humanity.
Went to Loreto from Ancona and the views were so startling and breathtaking, I would consider this as a truly spiritual experience.
I went for Kumbh Mela 2019, the largest spiritual gathering in India and perhaps in the world. Fantastic experience, but you need to value spiritual experiences. ... if you're a spiritual seeker you can go for the things you want. Indian food for me is simply the best. Super cheap and people very friendly and helpful. I loved my stay and made few friends. You can as well
It was our first trip to Iceland and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay. Reykjavik lights hotel is superb with clean rooms, friendly and helpful front desk staff and in a very good location for Tours and a walk down town. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the rooms had tea/coffee making facilities. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel for pick up and drop off. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices especially for us being vegetarians. The warm Danish pastries were amazing. We went for the golden circle day tour and the northern lights tour. We were lucky to see glimpses of it. Iceland is different from other countries visited but it had a calming and spiritual effect on us. Pure water to drink and pure air to breathe. It was magical.
San Jose was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, it was exactly what I needed. I went to a spiritual retreat and completely disconnected from western life and reconnected with nature.
