Pleasure Beach, Madame Tussauds, the aquarium and the dungeons were great. Blackpool is lovely and for everyone, if you want a quiet weekend away then book somewhere close to Pleasure Beach (south pier) as not a lot of noise at night. The dungeons were very good and you learn a lot about the history of Blackpool as well as get a fright now and again.
Pleasure Beach is always nice. The vibe is good. It's a tacky town but really good fun. Places I saw: The Blackpool Tower. My romantic experience: Kissing in the tunnel of love at Pleasure Beach.
Our trip to Bournemouth was so good. Me and my partner went to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary. The pier was really good, as you could stand out by the sea and hear the waves crashing. We also loved the gardens, as we went just after Christmas... there was a lot of Christmas lights still up. I recommend a visit to Aruba and to go on the big wheel.
We love Bournemouth. Places I saw: The cliff walk and the gardens. My romantic experience: Walking through the gardens in the evening.
Yes, it was very good. We went to Britannia Pier and to Horsey Gap to see the seals. Very good experience. De-stressing tips: Chilling on the beach and going for a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads. Activities I did: Seeing seals and going to the beach and seeing the sea. My romantic experience: Sitting on the beach having a nighttime BBQ with candles. I liked the scenery.
Good location to visit the rest of Cornwall. Places I saw: Tintagel, Boscastle [and] Port Isaac. The harbour at Mevagissey is nice. Newquay [is] good for [it's] beach. Would recommend travelling to as many locations as possible. Nice hidden treasures. It [was] nice to sit and have a meal by the harbour with a nice bottle of wine together. Hotel had lovely views of the sea, was close to the harbour too.
Weather was great. Lots of beach time, coastal walks and museums. De-stressing tips: Beach, spa and coastal walks. Places I saw: Tate Museum and Bárbara Hepworth Museum. Both good, Tate was better value for money. My romantic experience: Coastal walk- no one else around. I liked the beautiful scenery.
Guernsey was a beautiful place with very friendly people. We were very happy with everything we experienced. Places I saw: Little Chapel, Coronet Castle, Herm Island, Guernsey Island Tour, several museums and St. Peter Port. The Port area was very nice and the castle was enjoyable but the island tour was the most informative.
Had a fantastic time... Hired a car and went everywhere. Took a day trip to Herm, [it was] absolute paradise, well worth it. Beautiful beaches [and] lovely walks. De-stressing tips: Sightseeing and a trip to Herm.
We visited beautiful beaches, bays and castles during our stay. Jersey as a fantastic hop on hop off bus service which is regular and access is the whole Island. Activities I did: Just long walks on the many footpaths and trails of Jersey. Places I saw: Gory Castle, St Brelade's and St Aubin and the mystical lighthouse of Corbière.
Jersey is utterly delightful and very interesting. The whole area was full of historical and visual interest. A great place for an interesting and fun holiday. My romantic experience: Sitting on the beach enjoying Jersey ice-cream in beautiful weather.
