Cork has a great atmosphere and the pubs and restaurants are buzzing throughout the week. We also went to Kinsale, which is a beautiful harbour town. We went by bus so got to see all the beautiful countryside. Going to the Oliver Plunkett Bar for live music and Irish dancing [was de-stressing]. Having walks in Kinsale and dinner out at Market Lane [were romantic]. I liked the sightseeing and the friendly people.
Lovely coastal area... perfect for a short stay away and for anyone who enjoys walking through forests, being by the coast and chilling out. We saw the sea and took walks by the coast. The forest walks were so lovely particularly as this meant we could spend time together doing an activity we love. I liked the ambience of Dunoon and the general peacefulness.
Connemara National Park was a very nice place to visit. I strongly recommend the place for a couple of days... The beautiful lakes in the Connemara National Park [were romantic]! We also visited Dublin city, Cliffs of Moher... The Guinness Storehouse and the Connemara National Park are the best! I liked the peaceful nature [of the Irish].
Our Ascot hotel was in view of the seaside so we watched the sunrise and sunset each day – it was amazing. The soothing calmness of the sea breeze de-stress us. We had fun in the car we hired to go on the hills and mountains... The sightseeing in the open car is the highlight of my holiday as it was mind-blowing and breathtaking... The mountains were romantic, great to make a film on top of the mountains with the cutest sheep around.
Perfect location from Gylly beach and short walk into centre. Beautiful view from hotel. Would recommend Gylly beach cafe on the beach front, 30 seconds from Anacapri hotel! De-stressing tips: Surfing, fish and chips, relaxing on Gylly beach and lovely walks. Dinner and drinks in Gylly beach cafe [was romantic]. I liked the beautiful views and the endless things to do.
Drove through Glenveagh National Park and around the foothills of Mount Errigal, absolutely stunning. Walking in the mountain area [was romantic]. I liked the scenery... Had tea and sweet desserts in the Quiet Room in Letterkenny town which was excellent. De-stressing tips: Hotel pool, eating, walking outdoors and sightseeing.
My favourite thing was to get out into the country surrounding Belfast. Stunning beaches (Crawfordsburn) and the most beautiful countryside you will see anywhere. You can understand why Game of Thrones used it and so has made it a must see. Running on Bangor Coastal Path, paddling in the sea and suntanning on Crawfordsburn beach [were de-stressing]. Northern Ireland is beautifully kept and stunning in its natural and man made beauty.
Stayed near the pier and views were great out to sea. Nice walk around base of the Great Orme and lovely views. Enjoyed the time together undisturbed. Although it was local it still felt relaxed and tranquil during evening walks.
