Evening stroll along the beach and then back along the cliff top with a beautiful sunset [was romantic]... Food everywhere we went was amazing. Loved the pier and wheel. Beach was very clean and water crystal clear. Can't wait to go back. De-stressing tips: Walking along the beach, stopping for a coffee and also amazing ice-cream, shopping and enjoying the park and going to fabulous restaurants. I liked the chance to leave the car parked up for several days and just wandering around without having to watch the clock, so able to totally relax.
Scotland has some of the most beautiful scenery and views I have seen... The sunset and daybreak were breathtaking!... I liked everything... We went to Loch Ness and then one towards the Balmoral Estate etc. Well worth a visit. Rabbies Tours amazing, small 16 seater coach so you get the personnel touch.
Our Ascot hotel was in view of the seaside so we could watch the sunrise and sunset each day – it was amazing, the soothing calmness of the sea breeze de-stress us. We had fun in the car we hired to go on the hills and mountains. Our guide was excellent in the area and explained everything in detail. The sightseeing on the open car is the highlight of my holiday as it was mind-blowing and breathtaking. The cake at tea junction was my husband's favourite. We will always remember the mountain's spectacular view dotted with the cutest sheep while we were in an open car watching through a binocular.
Beautiful weather and lovely scenery made for a very relaxing weekend, while soaking up some of the quaint restaurants and sites, like the little mosaic chapel... Sunset over the harbour [was romantic]... De-stressing tips: Cliff walks, eating food and visiting mosaic chapel. I liked the calm atmosphere and beautiful scenery.
The weather was delightful, we sat out having a glass of bubbles and the view was just lovely, the countryside everywhere I looked. We walked around the countryside hand in hand watching the sun set over the top of the trees, just beautiful... The surroundings were just picturesque.
Lovely area, lots of walks, climbing and countryside. De-stressing tips: Walking and chilling. My romantic experience: Walk around the garden at sunset.
