There [are] plenty of bars [from] which you can rent out sun-beds, or simply bring a towel and lay on the beach as we did. The patisseries have to be the biggest highlight for us, but [I liked] the general relaxed atmosphere when walking along or relaxing on the promenade and beaches.
Beautiful. Perfect sunshine and warm temperatures. De-stressing tips: Relaxing on the beach or by the pool. Lots of fresh lovely food and wine plus relaxing strolls along the promenade. Enjoying a nice bottle of wine on our balcony with views of the ocean [was romantic].
The whole area is very well-maintained and spotless. Early summer weather unexpectedly in the high 20’s of degrees – yet beaches were sparsely populated. All blue flag beaches spotlessly clean and manned by lifeguards. As expected there were many seafood restaurants. All quite pricey but the quality of the food was excellent and all had a lot of choices.
The weather was glorious, with a nice breeze too so it never felt too warm unless laying in direct sunlight for longer than 30 minutes.
We had fantastic beach weather... Crete is a fantastic island with lots of amazing beaches and great food, authentic villages and friendly locals. We spent most of our time soaking up sunshine at the beach. De-stressing tips: Lying on the beach in the sunshine [and] cocktails at sunset.
The weather was amazing, some days it was nearly too hot at 36°C but I loved the guaranteed good weather.
Lovely and hot at the end of July! (30°C+ all week). Great food – flexible menu options in nearly all restaurants, to meet all tastes.
The weather was lovely – 30°C every day, and the food was delicious. Plenty of sightseeing, even went scuba diving for the first time ever! Parasailing too!
Paphos [is] a beautiful place... Weather was superb 28-29°C everyday. I found romantic: Walking along the beach and harbour... Learnt [it] is best to stay in old town with the locals. It's more fun and educational.
We visited Pissouri Beach and stayed in the village... De-stressing tips: Relaxing on the panoramic balcony, enjoying local cuisine, swimming and sunbathing.
Weather was amazing, very hot every day with an average of 28 degrees. The beach was not overly busy so you can always find a good spot to soak up the sun. On our final night we went to the Salt Beach Club at the W hotel, the view we had of the beach and sea was amazing to watch as the sun set. We then took a stroll along the beach afterwards and ended up at a great little bar.
The weather was great, averaging around 27°C each day with a cool breeze which was fab for soaking up the sun on the beach!
